The internet is rife with tons of opportunities. For those, who know where to look, it is possible to become rich by just taking advantage of the opportunities available online. Whether your aim is to make a quick buck here and there, or to build a solid business online, the internet can make that dream a reality. A recent survey showed that over the last 10 years, the internet has been responsible for over 8% of the recent millionaires globally and over 40% of the improved standard of living among the north American population and its neighbouring counterparts.

One of the tools or machine responsible for this phenomenal growth is Google. Making money with this technological wonder is not only possible, but could be the easiest way to generate the required cash needed at any point in time. There are various ways via which money can be made on Google.

1.Affiliate marketing – This is simply the process of selling another person’s product or services for a commission. There are different merchants for each and every product and all of them pay anything from 20% to as high as 90% of the cost of the product. So, assuming you promote a $97 affiliate product through Google using their paid listing also known as Google adwords and the organic search engine listings, you could make as much as $87 per sale. Not bad for a product you didn’t even have to create!

2.Selling Products – This can be in the form of physical brick and mortar type businesses where all that is needed is the selling or advertising of an individual’s business online. The other type of product is the digital kind. This can be in form of ebooks, videos, audios and recorded seminars all made available via download after a prospective customer has paid for it. These sort of products are often information products either teaching people how to learn a skill, make money, etc.

3.Selling Ads on Your Website – You could do this by advertising your website on Google thus giving you the opportunity to get a lot of readers. This is particularly good for blogs. You can do this, generate enough readership and visitors to your site, and then sell ad space on your website.

How to Create a Website to Make Money With Google

Nowadays, it has become far easier to generate income from the internet. With just a little knowledge of graphics design, an individual can put up a website, or a blog without sweat. However, it is not just about creating the website; it is about creating it in a manner that will be appealing to the folks who decide to visit it.

For instance, research has shown that as the internet becomes more multimedia based, only compliant websites will flourish. For example, I recently stumbled on a website that was created way back in 1995 and it had not been updated. Regardless of how much information that website had, I just had this natural distrust for it. The reason, in retrospect, was because it lacked all the look, feel and functionality of current web 2.0 ones.

So, if you want to create a website that will help you make money with Google, you need to get the design part of it right. These days, a website without graphics is almost like watching a TV with the sound turned off. You can see something is there, but it just doesn’t hold your interest. Apart from this, if you intend to create a website for your pay per click promotions through Google, then you need to pass their quality score. A website owner who doesn’t adhere to these terms will find themselves losing a lot of money fast.
Google is hell-bent on delivering the best possible content to its users. So as far as they are concerned, relevance is key. So, assuming you have a website on soccer, bidding for keywords such as “soccer tips for pre-school kids” will cost you an arm and a leg if the website does not have a page specifically dedicated to that topic.

The mistake many people, particularly newbies, make is that they often create a one-paged website and then bid for thousands of keywords. This often results in them getting their accounts or campaigns billed unnecessarily or outrightly disabled. Also note that Google wants some form of credibility so include a privacy policy and the legal stuff, an “About us” page, a “Contact us” page and you will be safe. Follow these tips and I can guarantee that your website(s) will score with Google.
