How to Make Money with Google Advertising

While I don’t want to say it is EASY to make money with Google advertising, I will say that if you take your time to learn exactly how the programs work your chances of being successful with them are high.
The main Google advertising program is called Google Ad words. This program allows you to bid on specific keywords to compete for the opportunity for your text ad to be displayed when someone uses those keywords to search for something using Google. The higher your bid, the greater the chances your ad will show in the top search engine results. Google Ad words will also allow you to put a specific amount of money into your Google account so that you can continue to get a never ending stream of visitors to your website until the money in your account has been used up. The more visitors you get to your website the greater the chances are that they will purchase your product or service.

The next way to make money with Google advertising involves Google Ad words as well. This program is called Google Ad Sense. This program is designed for those who have websites and are looking for additional sources of revenue from them. How this works is once you sign up for Google Ad sense, Google will host Google Ad words ads on your site based on the relevance of the ads to the subject of your website. For instance, if you owned a fitness website, the ad words displayed on your site might be advertising exercise equipment or vitamin supplements. When these visitors, who are targeted perfectly for the ads that will be show, click on the ads, you will get paid, that simple!

While both of these concepts are fairly easy to understand, it does take a little time and effort to really get results from these programs. First of all, when using ad words to drive traffic to your site, you must spend some time to choose quality keywords that people are actually searching for. Then, you must make sure to bid enough on the keywords and put enough money in your account that you receive enough traffic to make your expenditure worthwhile. In the case of the Ad sense program, you have to get a significant amount of visitors TO your site to even get paid. You only make money when visitors click on the ads so if you are looking to make serious money using this program, your site needs to get some serious traffic as well.
